History

We are now in our Four year of operation and we look forward in working and giving you the best our School could offer.

Ours is an eclectic School and will cater for your needs. We will continuously incorporate new technologies and educational development from different parts of the world with the aim of providing relevant, interesting and meaningful learning experiences wherein you will be actively involved in the learning process and be equally responsible in your own learning
. The experiences you will gain will in more ways than one, equip you with all the necessary skills, knowledge and orientation that will enable you to meet the challenges of the modern world and be effective leaders in the future.

More than two years back, a group of investor thought of putting up a school similar to what they already have established more than eight (8) years ago (The Indo – Asia Global School, now Sekolah Global Indo-Asia). They thought of establishing another school, a sister school, which will offer similar standard and quality of education but with a rather lower fees.

After countless, careful and thorough deliberation, they finalized their plan. They decided on giving the name “Kallista” to the new school with great expectation that the management of the school so with all its outputs will be a reflection of what the name “Kallista” connotes – smart and possessing an inner beauty.

Thus, the launching of the new school was held in May, 2006 at Sekolah Global. It was a “soft opening/introduction” program wherein the new school was introduced, its vision and mission statement, a description of its curriculum, the school facilities and services as well as the teaching and non-teaching staffs.

Afterwards, the opening of the school was formally announced through a social gathering, a “thanksgiving feast” with the symbolic “Nasi Tumpeng”, wherein the management of the school had been handed to Ms. Genny C. Juaiting, The School Principal and Hj. Resopriati Sujana, Kepala Sekolah by Ibu Jovita Leenardi, Ketua, Yayasan Kallista and Ibu Tina Suhendro – Yayasan Boardmember.

Sekolah Kallista officially opened on July 24, 2006 with the Preschool (Toddler, K1, 2, and 3) and Elementary classes from level 1 to 5 with a total enrollment of 121 students, 66 in the Preschool and 55 in the Elementary.

The school had gone through its first year successfully with the combined effort exerted by all the teachers and staffs who worked together as a TEAM (together everybody Achieves More) towards realizing the school’s vision and mission.

We are now in our second year of operation and we are proud to announce that we now have our level 6 in the Elementary and this year will be opening the secondary Level.
